This was the first documentary we ever made, and it set the tone for everything that followed. A Promise to a Friend follows the wild and heartfelt story of Gale Webb, a one-woman movement who used action sports as a platform to keep kids off drugs. Her influence kickstarted action sports as we know it today and is credited by many as the godmother of skateboarding, BMX, and motocross. What started as a promise to a friend became a lifelong mission, and a legacy that still rides strong today.

We’ve been working with Terry Adams for years, but this was the first time we got to tell the full story, not just the tricks, but the heart behind them. The Road Home follows Terry’s path from a kid riding on driveways in Louisiana to becoming one of the best flatland BMX riders in the world. It’s about passion, perseverance, and what it means to stay grounded while chasing greatness.
This was one of the most challenging projects we’ve ever worked on from filming over the course of two years to the edit and we couldn't be more proud.
